Bridge Swinging As the name indicates, bridge swinging consists of diving off the edge of a bridge and swinging from a rope like a pendulum underneath the bridge. Bridge swinging uses ropes similar to those used in rock climbing with one end secured to the bridge and the other end clipped to the person by a harness, who can reach speeds in excess of 45 mph when swinging!
