Our mission is to present the greatest range of fun days out, extreme sports, stag and hen weekends, corporate events and school trips, all in one easily searchable location. Factivities allows our users to book directly with the activity centre thus avoiding commission charges.
Factivities was founded in May 2004 by entrepreneur Debbie Jackman, a seasoned and passionate outdoor enthusiast. Fuelled by her frustration with spending too much time and money trying to organise activities, Debbie launched the UK’s premier outdoor activity directory listing service. What she wanted was one place that would enable her to easily plan and arrange any outdoor experience in the UK. Hence, Factivities.co.uk was born.
Having been transformed under new ownership, in August 2011 Factivities was re-launched by BMN Limited, SharePoint and .NET experts who provide custom software development and consulting services. BMN’s technical expertise has enabled us to develop and enhance this website to a world class standard. With substantial reinvestment over the last year, we have completely redesigned and redeveloped the site, using the latest web technologies to offer an outstanding online experience. Our team continue working hard to provide a user-friendly, informative and efficient service for our site users and members, the Activity Centre owners.
Our comprehensive directory is constantly growing and now features over 16,000 activities available through 8,000 Activity Centres. The directory includes most types of outdoor activity available in the UK, ranging from the tranquil to the extreme. The Factivities website attracts thousands of unique visitors each month and our traffic for both new visitors and repeat visitors is increasing day by day.
