Factivities.co.uk is your gateway to outdoor activities and experiences in the UK. It provides all the information you need in order to get outside and live life to the full.
When it was launched in May 2004, it had only limited content, no outdoor activity centres or users registered. Since then the team has focused hard on marketing the site and getting it recognised in the UK's outdoor activity community.
Today Factivities.co.uk has 2091
outdoor activity centres listed and 1010 users registered.
| Entrepreneur Debbie Jackman (previously Downes) is the proprietor and founder of Factivities.co.uk. Her passion for the outdoors inspired her to launch the UK's outdoor activity directory business following her career within the Oil and Gas Industry.
As a seasoned outdoor enthusiast, Debbie became frustrated with spending too much time and money organising UK outdoor activities, finding little or no resources to help her. |
What she wanted was one place that would enable her to easily plan an outdoor experience in the UK. Hence, Factivities.co.uk was born.

A new website with information and booking facilities for all kinds of activities and activity holidays around Britain. The guides and information cover a remarkable array of things to do. Click into 'on foot' and not only do you get the usual orienteering and rambling, but also things like model flying and archery. 'On the edge' includes more adventurous pursuits such as sphereing, gorge walking and coasteering. Other services include accommodation guides and links to sites selling equipment for each of the activities.
