Watching the clay shatter into the sky is the thrill of clay pigeon shooting.
To get started the best thing to do is to book a lesson with an instructor. They will tell you where you're going wrong.
What Happens
At the start of the session you will be instructed on handling a gun safely.
You will be shown how to hold the gun and position it correctly in your shoulder for the recoil.
When the clays fly don't be supprised if you miss the first few.
During the session you will learn to read the angle of the target's flight and aim into its path. | |

Comfortable clothes and shoes are to be worn.
The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) is the national govering body for clay pigeon shooting in England.
During the National Shooting Week discounted shoots are available to introduce newcomers to this country pursuit.
